Principles of Risk Assessment Training Course

Course Background

This course teaches basic principles on how to conduct a risk assessment as it applies to the workplace and to understand the reasons for risk assessments and to apply theory into practice.

Brief Outline Of Course

The course will explain the basic principles of risk assessment in the workplace and is aimed at team leaders, supervisors and personnel nominated to conduct risk assessments.

Identifying Hazards and risks
Applying control measures
Methodology and formatting
Practical: conducting a simple risk assessment

All candidates will receive a certificate of attendance on completion of the course along with a handout for future reference.
