Location: Client's Premises or WFS Training Suite

Course Background

Many personnel are involved in moving people in emergency situations.

These may include:

Healthcare workers
Management/security staff assisting disabled persons in an emergency

Brief Outline Of Course

The course is aimed at personnel involved during a full evacuation and assisting disabled people who cannot get themselves out of the building unaided.

Legislation
What is a PEEP?
Definition of Disability & Discrimination
Meeting people with impaired vision/ hearing
Assisting people in wheelchairs
Emergency Evacuation (Theory)
Practical briefing
Practical exercise using wheelchair and Evac-chair

All candidates will receive a certificate of attendance on completion of the course along with a handout for future reference.
