Course Background
The course will provide the skills and knowledge needed to ensure that delegates are able to work safely with or from lightweight access towers. The course is designed for personnel involved in construction and working from lightweight access towers.

This course will enable operative, maintenance and inspection staff to safely erect, use, move, dismantle and inspect lightweight access towers.

- Safe working at heights
- Recognition of components and their applications
- Provision of bracing, ties, toe-boards and handrails
- Selection, erection and use of ladders
- Identification of suitable ground conditions
- Sequence of erection and dismantling
- Use of outriggers, sole plates and ties
- Techniques for repositioning erected towers
