Principles of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Training Course

Course Background

A stand-alone level 1 qualification, which complements the CIEH Foundation Certification in Health & Safety in the workplace programme. It is aimed at those who use substances hazardous to health at work and introduces candidates to the hazards associated with those substances, the risks and controls available and what to expect from a COSHH assessment.

Brief Outline Of Course

Successful completion will prepare delegates to look carefully at their own work activities and contribute to the safer use of hazardous substances in co-operation with managers and supervisors. The programme is assessed by a short objective test consisting of 20 multi-choice questions. An oral paper is also available.
